The Fast Freeze switch is in the 'ON' position or the temperature regulating knob is set too high

Follow these easy steps to get your Hotpoint RFA52 xx Refrigerator up and running in no time.

Positioning the Appliance

Install the appliance on a level and rigid floor. If the floor is not perfectly horizontal, make the necessary adjustments by tightening or loosening the single foot at the front of the appliance.

Electrical Connection

After the appliance has been transported, carefully place it vertically and wait at least 3 hours before connecting it to the electricity mains. Ensure the appliance is earthed and the plug is compliant with the law.

Starting the Appliance

Insert the plug into the socket and ensure that the internal light illuminates. Turn the TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob to an average value. After a few hours, you will be able to put food in the refrigerator.

The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool well

The doors may be opened too frequently, the temperature adjustment knob is not in the correct position, or the appliance may be overfilled. Ensure the doors are closed properly and not opened frequently. Check the temperature adjustment knob and set it to the correct position. Avoid overfilling the appliance.

The food inside the refrigerator is beginning to freeze

The temperature adjustment knob may be set too low, causing food to freeze. Adjust the temperature knob to a higher setting to prevent the food from freezing.
