Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Proper Placement and Ventilation
Locate the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room and ensure that the air openings of the cabinet are not obstructed. This helps in maintaining optimal cooling efficiency and prevents the appliance from overworking.
Avoid Overloading and Proper Storage
Do not push food together too much; allow air to circulate around each item. Store food in airtight packages to prevent unnecessary frosting and odours affecting other food items.
Temperature Settings
Ensure the freezer and fridge thermostats are set to the correct temperature. This avoids the appliance working continuously and helps in maintaining the desired cooling effect.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regularly clean the condenser at the bottom of the appliance using a vacuum cleaner. Ensure the door seals are clean and free from debris to maintain proper sealing.
Door Alignment and Closure
Ensure the appliance is level and doors are aligned correctly. Close the doors properly to prevent warm air from entering, which can cause the appliance to work harder.
