Before installing and using the appliance, carefully read the supplied instructions. Ensure that the installation is done by a qualified person. Do not install or use a damaged appliance, and ensure the appliance is installed in a safe and suitable location.
Remove all packaging materials before starting the installation. Ensure that the mains plug is only connected to the mains socket at the end of the installation process.
Make sure not to damage the mains plug and the mains cable. The device should be connected to the mains socket only at the end of the installation. Use only a 13 A ASTA (BS 1362) fuse when necessary (for UK and Ireland).
Connect the appliance to the water mains using the new supplied hose-sets. Do not reuse old hose sets. Ensure that there are no visible water leaks during and after the first use of the appliance.
Configure the appliance by adjusting the water hardness level from 1 to 10 (default is 5) and the rinse aid level from 0 to 6 (default is 4). Activate or deactivate other settings like end sound and auto door open according to your preference.
Fill the salt container, then fill the rinse aid dispenser. Open the water tap and start the Quick programme to remove any residues from the manufacturing process. Do not use detergent or place dishes in the appliance during this initial cycle.
