Follow these easy steps to get your Hoover F5871-900 Vacuum Cleaner up and running in no time.
Carefully remove the deep cleaner from the packaging. Make sure to keep all included items such as the hose, tools, and cleaning solutions.
Attach the handle by inserting the projections on the rack into the slots at the back of the cleaner. Secure with the provided screws.
Fill the clean solution tank with HOOVER Carpet/Upholstery Detergent according to the instructions provided. Ensure that the tank is securely placed back into the unit.
Attach the hose to the end of the cleaner, ensuring it is firmly connected. Position the tool at the base of the cleaner and snap it securely into place.
Plug the deep cleaner into a properly grounded outlet. Ensure your hands are dry before handling the plug.
Step on the handle release pedal to lower the handle to the operating position. The handle floats for convenient operation and does not lock into a single position.
Use the cleaning mode indicator to select the desired cleaning mode. The indicator will show a green window next to 'FLOOR' for carpet and bare floor cleaning, or 'TOOL' when using attachments.
Select the agitator speed with the speed selector. Choose 'HI' for normal cleaning, 'LO' for gentle cleaning, or 'OFF' if brushing is not required.
Ensure the floor surface is suitable for the deep cleaner. Do not use on hardwood floors. Follow the 'Before You Begin Cleaning' instructions for optimal results.
