Follow these easy steps to get your Hotpoint FFA70 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Locate your fridge freezer away from sources of heat such as cookers, radiators, and direct sunlight, as extreme temperatures will affect its performance. Ensure there is a minimum 100mm (4 inches) gap above the fridge freezer for ventilation.
Move the fridge freezer into position using the sides of the cabinet, taking care to avoid damaging the refrigerant circuit pipework on the rear.
Level the fridge freezer by adjusting the front feet until firm contact is made with the floor. This will stop rocking or vibration and keep the door aligned.
Allow the fridge freezer to stand upright in its final location for at least 15 minutes before plugging in and switching on the electricity supply. This allows the system to settle.
Plug in and switch on the fridge freezer. Ensure the mains cable is not trapped underneath or behind the appliance when you install or move it.
Allow the fridge freezer to cool down before placing food inside. The high temperature light will stay on until the fridge freezer has cooled sufficiently.
