Follow these easy steps to get your Samsung CY-SWR1100 Oven up and running in no time.
Begin by carefully unpacking your Samsung CY-SWR1100 and all its components from the box. Ensure that you have all the necessary parts, including the power adapter, software CD, Ethernet cable, and any mounting kits if provided.
For optimal wireless coverage, place your Samsung CY-SWR1100 in an open area, away from your computer, monitor, and speakers. Depending on your home's layout, you may need to adjust the router's position to achieve the best coverage.
Turn off your modem. Connect the blue Ethernet cable from the device's internet port to the modem's Ethernet port. Then, connect this Ethernet cable to one of the CY-SWR1100's four Ethernet ports.
Turn on your modem and wait approximately 30 seconds for the boot process to complete. Then, turn on the CY-SWR1100 and wait about 50 seconds for its boot process to complete.
For Windows OS users, run the Quick Setup Wizard from the provided CD to guide you through the CY-SWR1100 setup. If using Linux or Mac OS, open your internet browser, enter the CY-SWR1100's IP address (192.168.0.1), and log in with 'admin' as the username and leave the password field blank.
Ensure that your computer can access the internet. If not, open a web browser on the computer connected to the CY-SWR1100 and follow the setup steps.
Complete the wireless network and internet connection setup. Ensure that the internet is connected successfully. If you encounter issues, contact your Internet Service Provider.
After completing the network setup, move the wireless router to your desired location. If you change the wireless router's settings or install a new router, you must repeat the connection procedure from the beginning.
