Carefully remove the oven from its packaging. Inspect the oven for any signs of damage, such as dents or scratches. Ensure all components are included as per the manual checklist.
Position the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight. Ensure there's adequate ventilation space around the oven as specified in the manual. Connect the oven to a suitable power outlet.
When the oven is plugged in, the display will flash '12:00'. Turn the MULTI-FUNCTION SELECTOR to set the current time. Press POWER LEVEL/ENTER to confirm the time.
Run an initial test cycle to ensure the oven is functioning properly. Set the oven to a basic cook cycle for a few minutes without any food inside.
Familiarize yourself with the control panel layout, including the MODE SELECTOR and MULTI-FUNCTION SELECTOR dials, along with the display indicators.
Ensure the oven is empty. Pour approximately 100 ml of water onto the floor of the oven. Press the STEAM CLEAN button. After 15 minutes, the oven will automatically stop. Wipe the interior with a dry cloth.
To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the STEAM CLEAN and CLOCK buttons simultaneously for three seconds. The lock symbol will appear on the display, indicating the control panel is locked.
