1. Step 1: Check the Dimensions
Check the dimensions of your entrance door to ensure that the refrigerator can pass through.
2. Step 2: Select a Location
Choose a location with easy access to the water supply and enough space for the refrigerator. Avoid direct sunlight.
3. Step 3: Place the Refrigerator
Place the refrigerator in an appropriate location with reasonable clearance between the wall and the refrigerator.
4. Step 4: Plug in the Refrigerator
Plug in the refrigerator. The interior light should come on when you open the doors.
5. Step 5: Set the Temperature
Set the temperature control to the coldest setting and wait for an hour. The freezer should get slightly chilled, and the motor should run smoothly.
6. Step 6: Flush the Water System
If you have just installed the refrigerator, throw away the first six glassfuls of water to flush out impurities in the water supply system.
7. Step 7: Check for Water Leaks
Open the refrigerator door and check if there are any water leaks around the water filter.
8. Step 8: Allow Temperature to Stabilize
Once the refrigerator temperature is sufficiently low, you can store food in the refrigerator. It takes a few hours to reach the appropriate temperature.
