1. Unpacking and Checking Parts
Unpack your microwave oven and check to make sure that you have all the parts shown here. Ensure there are no damages such as dents on the interior or exterior of the oven, broken door latches, cracks in the door, or a door that is not aligned correctly. If there is any damage, do not operate the oven and notify your dealer immediately.
2. Cleaning Before First Use
Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth to remove any dust or residue from packaging. This ensures that your microwave is clean and ready for use.
3. Installation
Install or locate this appliance only in accordance with the provided installation instructions. The installation must be performed by a qualified technician or service company to avoid any risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, or other problems.
4. Placing the Turntable
Place the pre-assembled ring in the indentation in the center of the oven. Ensure the glass tray is securely placed in the center of the pre-assembled roller guide. This setup is essential for the microwave's operation.
5. Plugging in the Microwave
The first time you plug the power cord into an outlet, or after there has been an interruption in power, the display will show a welcome message. Ensure you connect only to properly grounded outlets as per the grounding instructions in the manual.
6. Setting the Language
Press the MY CHOICE button immediately after plugging in your microwave, then press the number 1 button. The display will show: LANGUAGE CHOICE. Press the MY CHOICE button repeatedly to select the language you wish to use (ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH).
7. Setting the Clock
Use the number buttons to enter the current time. To set a time over one minute, enter the seconds too. For example, to set 20 minutes, enter 2, 0, 0, 0. Press the START button to begin clock operation.
8. Safety Precautions
This appliance must be used only for its intended uses as described in the manual. Read and follow the specific precautions to avoid exposure to excessive microwave energy.
