Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZDE26100W Dryer up and running in no time.
Remove all packaging materials before using the appliance. Slide out the polythene bag containing the polystyrene block. Pull off adhesive strips from inside the machine on top of the drum.
Place the dryer close to your washing machine for convenience. Ensure it is on a firm, level surface to minimize vibration and noise. Avoid placing the machine on an electrical supply cable. If on a carpeted floor, adjust the feet for air circulation. Use a stacking kit if placing the dryer on top of a washing machine.
Ensure the room is well-ventilated and the temperature does not exceed +35°C during operation. The dryer should be vented through to the open air to remove moist air effectively.
A qualified electrician should perform any necessary electrical work. Ensure the power supply voltage matches the specifications: 230-240 V/50 Hz.
Before using the dryer for the first time, place a few damp cloths inside and run a drying cycle for approximately 20 minutes to remove any dust.
Once positioned, check the dryer is level using a spirit level. Adjust the feet if necessary.
Do not overload the appliance. Check care labels to ensure items are suitable for tumble drying. Avoid placing dripping wet clothes in the dryer.
Select the drying time using the program time selector dial. Depress the start button to begin the operation.
The machine stops automatically. Turn the selector dial to '0'. If laundry is still damp, select a brief additional drying time.
Clean the fluff filters after every drying program to ensure correct functioning. Disconnect the appliance from electricity before cleaning.
