Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Bosch Dryer.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the lint filter after or before every drying process to ensure efficient operation and prevent overheating. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove fluff from the lint filter area at least once a month.
Heat Exchanger Maintenance
Rinse the heat exchanger and its cap on all sides with water to remove all fluff. Ensure the cap and exchanger are completely dry before reinstalling. This should be done regularly to maintain drying efficiency.
Moisture Sensor Cleaning
Clean the moisture sensors (located next to the lint filter) once a month using a cloth and a little white vinegar to remove any deposits and ensure accurate drying cycles.
Proper Loading
Ensure that laundry is thoroughly spun in the washing machine before placing it in the dryer. This reduces drying time and saves energy.
Check Installation
Make sure the dryer is installed according to the manufacturer's instructions, with all services properly connected. The dryer should be level, with all feet pressing equally on the floor.
