Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Bosch Dryer.
Regular Cleaning of Lint Filter
Clean the lint filter before and after each drying process. This ensures efficient drying and prevents overheating by maintaining proper airflow. A dirty filter can extend drying time and increase energy consumption.
Monthly Cleaning of Moisture Sensor
The moisture sensor should be cleaned monthly to remove any transparent buildup. Use a cloth with a little white vinegar to wipe the sensors, which are located next to the lint filter.
Monthly Cleaning of Bearing Shield
Fluff accumulates in the bearing shield over time. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove this fluff at least once a month to ensure smooth dryer operation.
Ensure Proper Ventilation
Keep the area around the exhaust opening and adjacent areas free from lint, dust, and dirt accumulation. This prevents overheating and maintains efficient airflow.
Inspect Exhaust Duct Regularly
Disconnect the duct from the dryer, vacuum it, and reconnect it regularly. Ensure that the exhaust duct is reduced to the maximum length as described in the installation instructions.
