Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Bosch Dryer.
Installation and Initial Checks
Before switching on the dryer, install it in accordance with the installation instructions. Check the dryer for visible damage; if any damage is found, contact your dealer. Conduct an appliance test to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
Using the Dryer Safely
Do not leave children unsupervised near the dryer and keep pets away. Before closing the door, check the contents of the drum and remove all objects from pockets, especially lighters, to prevent risk of explosion. Switch off the dryer at the end of the program.
Protecting the Dryer
Do not climb on the dryer or lean/sit on the door to avoid risk of tipping. Do not store or use solvent detergent boosters or stain removers near the dryer as it could be damaged.
Energy Saving Tips
To save energy, money, and time, ensure laundry is thoroughly drained before drying. Clean the lint filter after every drying process to reduce drying time and save energy.
Cleaning and Care
Wipe the inside of the drum with a damp cloth regularly. Clean the lint filter after each drying process. Incorrect cleaning may damage the dryer, so never use solvents or highly flammable liquids for cleaning.
