Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Bosch Dryer.
Regular Cleaning of Lint Filter
Ensure the lint filter is cleaned before and after each drying cycle to maintain optimal airflow and drying efficiency. This helps prevent overheating and reduces energy consumption.
Inspect and Clean Exhaust Duct
Periodically check the exhaust duct for blockages or lint build-up. Clean the duct to ensure proper ventilation and prevent potential fire hazards.
Monthly Moisture Sensor Cleaning
Clean the moisture sensor monthly to remove any transparent buildup. Use a cloth and a little white vinegar to wipe the two sensor bars located next to the lint filter.
Check and Clean Bearing Shield
Over time, fluff collects in the bearing shield. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the fluff at least once a month to maintain efficient dryer operation.
Ensure Adequate Air Supply
Ensure the dryer has an adequate supply of fresh air and is not obstructed by other objects. This will help maintain the efficiency and safety of the drying process.
