Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Bosch Dryer.
Proper Loading
Only load the drum with laundry. Check the contents before you switch the dryer on. Do not exceed the maximum recommended capacity. Ensure that the drum is empty before loading to prevent damage and ensure efficient drying.
Safe Operation
Do not use the dryer if the laundry has been in contact with solvents, oil, wax, grease, or paint, as this poses a risk of fire or explosion. Always ensure the mains lead is not damaged to avoid electric shock.
Ventilation
Ensure the room is well ventilated during drying. Do not cover or seal the air inlet. This ensures proper air circulation and optimal drying performance.
Regular Cleaning
Rinse the fluff filters under running water regularly. Remove the outer fluff filter, open it, and remove any fluff. Rinse thoroughly, dry completely, and re-insert the filter for best results.
Heat Exchanger Maintenance
The dryer's heat exchanger is cleaned automatically during the drying process. 'Cln' will appear in the display panel. Do not pull out the condensation container during this cleaning process to ensure effective maintenance.
