Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner.
Use Genuine HOOVER Parts
To ensure optimal operation, always use genuine HOOVER filter bags and belts. Using non-genuine parts may lead to reduced performance and potential damage.
Avoid Picking Up Sharp Objects
Do not vacuum hard, sharp objects as they can damage the cleaner and the bag. This precaution helps in maintaining the integrity of the vacuum cleaner.
Regularly Replace Filter Bags
Check and replace the filter bag when the 'CHECK BAG' indicator shows red. Even if the bag is not full, replace it if very fine materials have clogged the bag pores.
Check for Blockages
If suction is low, check for blockages in the nozzle, hose, or tools. Disconnect from power before checking and remove any obstructions found.
Proper Storage and Handling
Always turn off the appliance before connecting or disconnecting the hose or motorized nozzle. Ensure it is not used with a damaged cord or plug.
