Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner.
Regular Filter Maintenance
Ensure the filter is cleaned regularly to maintain optimal suction. Remove the dirt container by unlatching the latches located on each side, then clean the filter thoroughly.
Avoid Blockages
Regularly check hoses, wands, and other attachments for blockages. If suction is low, inspect the system for obstructions and clear them to restore performance.
Proper Power Connection
Ensure the vacuum is plugged in firmly and there is voltage in the outlet. Check and replace any blown fuses or reset tripped breakers to ensure the cleaner runs smoothly.
Handle with Care
Always unplug the cleaner when not in use and before maintenance. Do not use the vacuum with a damaged cord or plug, and avoid handling the appliance with wet hands.
Use Recommended Attachments
Only use attachments recommended by Hoover to avoid hazards. When using accessory kits, keep body parts away from moving parts and disconnect the hose and cord when not in use.
