Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner.
Regular Dust Bag Maintenance
Ensure the dust bag is not full or blocked. Replace the dust bag regularly and empty or replace the cloth bag as needed to maintain suction power and prevent motor strain.
Clogged Filter Prevention
Regularly check filters for clogs. For VCC-05, replace the pre-motor filter as needed. For VCC-07, remove, wash, or replace the HEPA filter to ensure optimal performance.
Blockage Removal
Inspect the hose and all vacuum openings for blockages. Disconnect the hose and remove any obstructions before reattaching to maintain airflow and performance.
Handling and Usage Cautions
Always turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner before assembling, opening, or emptying the dirt container. Ensure the vacuum is turned off when plugging it into an outlet to prevent accidents.
Motor Care
If the motor thermostat trips, switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner, and allow it to cool for one hour before restarting.
