Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Hotpoint Refrigerator.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator regularly using a mild detergent and warm water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could damage surfaces.
Check and Replace the Water Filter
Inspect the Hotpoint Water Filter periodically and replace it as recommended by the manufacturer to ensure optimal water quality and flow.
Temperature Control
Use the upfront electronic temperature control to set the appropriate temperature for both the fresh food and freezer compartments to prevent spoilage and maintain efficiency.
Clear Air Vents
Ensure that air vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked by food items to allow proper air circulation and maintain consistent temperatures.
FrostGuard™ Technology
Take advantage of the FrostGuard™ technology that reduces freezer burn by defrosting only when needed. This requires minimal intervention but ensure the freezer door is fully closed.
