Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your LG Dryer.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that the exterior and interior of the dryer are cleaned regularly. Use warm water and a neutral non-abrasive detergent for the exterior. For the interior, run the washer through a complete cycle using hot water to remove hard water deposits.
Proper Loading
Avoid overloading the dryer by ensuring that all articles in the clothes load are similar in material and thickness. Overloading can cause uneven drying and potential damage.
Avoid Flammable Materials
Do not place items that have been spotted or soaked with vegetable or cooking oil in the dryer, as these can ignite spontaneously when exposed to heat.
Drain Filter Maintenance
Regularly clean the drain filter to collect threads and small objects left in the laundry. This helps in maintaining the efficiency of the dryer.
Water Inlet Hose Maintenance
Regularly check and clean the filter of the water inlet hose using a hard bristle brush. This ensures proper water intake and prevents clogs.
