Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the oven regularly to prevent the build-up of grease and food residue, which can cause smoke or fire hazards. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners that might damage the enamel surface.
Safe Handling
Avoid touching the heating elements and interior surfaces of the oven until they have cooled down. The surfaces become very hot during operation and can cause burns.
Proper Ventilation
Ensure that the cooling fan is functioning properly. It is normal for the fan to continue running after the oven has been turned off to cool down the internal components.
Avoid Water Damage
Do not pour water directly onto the oven bottom when it is hot as this could damage the enamel surface. Also, avoid lining the oven bottom with aluminum foil or placing baking trays directly on the bottom.
Handling the Oven Door
Close the oven door during cooking to maintain the temperature and ensure safety. Be cautious when opening the door during or after cooking to avoid escaping hot air and steam.
