Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Door Operation Check
Ensure that the oven is not operated with the door open. Always check the interlock operation, proper door closing, seal and sealing surfaces for wear or damage, and the condition of hinges and latches before use.
Microwave Leakage Test
Perform a microwave leakage check to ensure compliance with Federal performance standards before releasing the oven for use, especially after servicing.
Repair and Replacement Protocol
All repairs should adhere to the procedures described in the service manual. Replace or adjust defective components in the interlock, monitor, door seal, and microwave generation systems before returning the oven to the owner.
Static Electricity Precaution
Discharge any static electricity from your body before touching the touch control circuitry to prevent damage. Always ground yourself while working on it.
High Voltage Safety
Do not attempt to measure high voltages, including the filament voltage of the magnetron. Ensure the oven is unplugged and the high voltage capacitor is discharged before touching any components.
