Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Ensure Proper Closure
Regularly check that the oven door closes properly and there is no damage to the door, door seals, and sealing surfaces. If you notice any damage, refrain from using the oven until it is repaired by a qualified service technician.
Regular Cleaning
Keep the inside of the oven clean by wiping it after use with a damp cloth followed by a soft dry cloth. Pay special attention to the door seals and sealing surfaces to prevent food residues from accumulating, which can hinder proper closure.
Avoid Obstruction
Do not place any object between the oven door and front face. Ensure that no residues are left on sealing surfaces. This helps maintain a tight seal and prevents exposure to excessive microwave energy.
Prevent Fire Hazards
Do not store flammable materials in the oven, and remove wire twist ties from paper or plastic bags before placing them in the oven. If smoke is observed, keep the door closed and switch off or disconnect the oven from the power supply.
Ventilation
Never block the air vents as this may cause the oven to overheat and automatically switch off. Ensure the oven is placed on a flat, level surface that can safely bear its weight and allows for proper air circulation.
