Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the inside of the oven after each use with a mild detergent solution. Ensure the microwave oven cools down before cleaning to avoid injury. Clean the outside surfaces with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasives.
Door and Seal Maintenance
Ensure that the door seals and sealing surfaces are kept clean. Clean after use first with a damp cloth and then with a soft dry cloth. Prevent food or cleaner residues from accumulating on sealing surfaces.
Ventilation and Air Filter
Do not cover the rear ventilation ducts with cloths or paper. Regularly clean the air filter when the air filter check indicator appears in the display window. Follow the instructions in the manual for cleaning or replacing the air filter.
Avoid Operating Empty
Do not operate the microwave oven when it is empty to prevent damage to the oven walls. Keep a glass of water inside the oven to absorb microwaves if accidentally operated empty.
Professional Repairs Only
If the oven is faulty, unplug it from the wall socket and contact the nearest after-sales service centre. Do not attempt to remove the outer casing or perform repairs yourself.
