Remove all packing materials inside the oven. Make sure to check for any protective film or tape that needs to be removed as part of the unpacking process.

Install the Roller Ring and Turntable

Place the roller ring in the center of the oven cavity. Install the turntable on top of the roller ring, ensuring that it rotates freely.

Place the oven on a flat, level surface that is strong enough to bear its weight, at least 85 cm above the floor. Ensure that the microwave is not installed in hot or damp surroundings, like next to a traditional oven or radiator, and that the plug is accessible.

Troubleshooting

The maximum allowable cooking time of 30 minutes has been exceeded. Press the Stop/Cancel button and repeat the steps, ensuring that the cooking time does not exceed 30 minutes.

Light bulb not working

The light bulb inside the oven is not functioning. Do not attempt to replace the light bulb yourself for safety reasons. Please contact the nearest authorized Samsung customer care to arrange for a qualified engineer to replace the bulb.

Sparking and cracking (arcing)

Sparking and cracking sounds are occurring inside the oven. Ensure that no metal objects are inside the oven, such as dishes with metal trimmings or metal utensils. Also, check that aluminum foil is not too close to the inside walls.

Power Source and Consumption

The Samsung CM1089 Oven operates on a power source of 230 V ~ 50 Hz with a microwave power consumption of 1600 W and an output power of 1050 W at 230 V and 1100 W at 240 V, featuring four power levels including defrost.

Operating Instructions

To start cooking, place food in the oven, select the power level and cooking time, then press the Start button. The oven beeps four times when cooking is complete. For multi-stage cooking, use the Program button to enter Program mode.

Automatic Fan Operation

The door opening starts the automatic operation of the fan for five minutes. The lamp and fan start automatically when the door is opened to place or remove food items.

Maintenance and Care

Clean the outside surfaces with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Remove any splashes inside the oven with a soapy cloth. Do not store flammable materials in the oven.

Installation Instructions

Install the oven on a flat, level surface at least 85 cm above the floor, ensuring the surface can bear the oven's weight. Maintain clearances of 10 cm behind, 20 cm above, and 10 cm on the sides.

Defrost Functionality

To defrost food, place it in the oven, press the Defrost button, select the cooking time using the Number buttons, and press Start. The maximum allowable cooking time is 30 minutes.

Memory Programming

The oven features memory programming for one-stage cooking by pressing the Program button, which clears the display and enters Program mode.
