Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Maintain Clean Door Seals
Ensure that the door and door sealing surfaces are kept clean by wiping after use first with a damp cloth and then with a soft dry cloth. This prevents food or cleaner residues from accumulating, which could affect the door's ability to close properly.
Inspect for Damage
Regularly check for damage to the door, door hinges, and seals. If the door is bent, hinges are broken or loose, or seals are damaged, do not operate the oven until it has been repaired by a qualified microwave service technician trained by the manufacturer.
Professional Servicing Only
The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone other than a properly qualified microwave service technician. Unauthorized repairs can expose users to microwave energy hazards.
Avoid Excessive Pressure
Do not apply excessive pressure or impact to the appliance. Avoid placing the oven over fragile objects such as a sink or glass object.
Cleaning Precautions
Never use benzene, thinner, alcohol, steam cleaner, or high-pressure cleaner to clean the appliance. Use mild detergent solutions and soft cloths to clean without causing damage.
