Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Vacuum Cleaner.
Regularly Clean the Dust Pack
Ensure to clean the dust pack when the suction is significantly weakened or if you hear a shaking sound of the inlet stuck to the floor. Shake and tap the dust from it and put it back into the machine. Make sure the filter is completely dry before reinserting, allowing 12 hours for it to dry.
Empty the Dust Bin
Remove the dust bin by pressing the button and separating the dust bin cover. Dispose of the dust in a plastic bag, especially if you have asthma or allergies. Close the dust bin cover and push it into the vacuum cleaner until you hear a 'click' sound.
Check for Blockages
If the suction force is gradually decreasing, check the nozzle, suction hose, or tube for blockages and remove them. Avoid picking up hard or sharp objects as they may damage cleaner parts.
Replace or Clean Filters
If suction is reduced, check and clean the filters. Remove the motor protection filter and wash it with water. Let it dry in the shade for more than 12 hours before reassembly. Also, check the HEPA filter and dust it if necessary.
Brush Maintenance
Remove waste matter such as dust and hair tangled around the brushbar using scissors. For pet hair or fiber on carpets, remove dust inside the brush housing using a dry duster or crevice tool. Reassemble the brushbar into the rotating belt and click the transparent screen cover back into place.
