Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Clean your oven regularly to prevent grease and food particles from building up, especially on inside and outside surfaces, door, and door seals. Use a damp cloth and a soft dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid abrasive products or chemical solvents.
Proper Storage
If the oven must be temporarily stored, choose a clean dry place as dust and dampness can cause damage.
Door Seal Maintenance
Ensure that door seals are clean to prevent particles from building up so that the door can close properly. Wipe sealing surfaces after use with a damp cloth and then with a soft dry cloth.
Avoiding Damage
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass as they can scratch the surface, which may result in shattering of the glass.
Safety Precautions
Do not heat food wrapped in paper such as magazines or newspaper, as this may result in fire. Also, take care that food does not come into contact with the heater when cooking, which may also result in fire.
