Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Clean your oven regularly to prevent grease and food particles from building up, especially on inside and outside surfaces, door and door seals. Use a damp cloth followed by a soft dry cloth to keep the door and door sealing surfaces clean.
Use of Steam Clean Feature
Use the Steam Clean feature to sanitize your oven in just 15 minutes. Pour about 100 ml of water onto the floor of the empty oven, press STEAM CLEAN, and the oven will start automatically. After 15 minutes, it will stop, and you should wipe it out with a dry cloth.
Avoiding Microwave Energy Exposure
Never attempt to operate the oven with the door open, tamper with the safety interlocks, or insert anything into the safety interlock holes. These actions can lead to harmful exposure to microwave energy.
Proper Use of Containers
Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers as they are liable to explode. Use proper cookware without metal trimmings, and avoid leaving forks or other metal utensils inside the oven.
Handling Door and Sealing Surfaces
Ensure that the door and door seals are clean to prevent particles from building up, which may affect the door's ability to close properly. Do not operate the oven if the door or door seals are damaged.
