Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the oven regularly to prevent grease and food buildup. If the oven is not clean after one cycle, repeat the cycle. Use appropriate cleaning agents for stainless steel surfaces and avoid steel-wool pads or abrasive cleaners.
Self-Cleaning Cycle
Before starting a self-cleaning cycle, remove the oven racks to prevent discoloration and ensure they slide easily. Multiple self-cleaning cycles may be necessary for thorough cleaning.
Surface Burner Maintenance
Ensure all surface burner knobs are in the OFF position before cleaning. Make sure the burners are properly seated and level. Reassemble burner components and replace the burner grates correctly.
Check for Loose Parts
After installation or moving, check to ensure no range parts have come loose during shipping. Secure any loose parts to avoid operational issues.
Avoid Obstructing Vents
Do not cover any holes or passages in the bottom oven cover, and never cover an entire oven rack with aluminum foil. This can affect air flow and cooking performance.
