Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Ensure Proper Installation
When you install your Samsung G2712N Oven, make sure there is adequate ventilation by leaving at least 10 cm of space behind and on the sides of the oven, and 20 cm of space above. This will prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance.
Keep the Oven Clean
Regularly clean the inside and outside surfaces, door and door seals, turntable, and roller rings to prevent grease and food particles from building up. Use a mild detergent solution and let the microwave cool down before cleaning to avoid injury.
Check Door Seals
Ensure that the door and door sealing surfaces are kept clean by wiping after use with a damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth. This is crucial to prevent residues from accumulating on the sealing surfaces, which could lead to improper door closure.
Avoid Operating When Damaged
Do not operate the oven if it is damaged until it has been repaired by a qualified service technician. Check for damage to the door, door seals, hinges, and power cable, and ensure that the door closes properly.
Prevent Fire Hazards
Do not store flammable materials in the oven, and remove wire twist ties from paper or plastic bags before use. If smoke is observed, keep the oven door closed and switch off or disconnect the oven from the power supply.
