Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the inside and outside surfaces of the oven regularly to prevent grease and food particles from building up. Pay special attention to the door and door seals. Use a damp cloth followed by a soft dry cloth.
Door Seals Maintenance
Ensure that the door seals and sealing surfaces are clean and free from food or cleaner residues to prevent the door from closing improperly. Wipe them clean after each use.
Avoid Damaging the Door
Do not place any object between the oven door and front face. Do not operate the oven if the door or door seals are damaged. This includes broken hinges, deteriorated seals, or distorted oven casing.
Qualified Technician Repairs
If the oven is damaged or needs repairs, contact a qualified microwave service technician trained by the manufacturer. Never attempt to repair or adjust the oven yourself.
Avoid Fire Hazards
Do not store flammable materials in the oven. Remove wire twist ties from paper or plastic bags before placing them in the oven. If smoke is observed, keep the oven door closed and disconnect it from the power supply.
