Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Avoid Operating with Door Open
Do not attempt to operate the oven with the door open as it can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. Ensure the safety interlocks are not tampered with.
Leave a Cup of Water Inside
Consider leaving a cup of water in the oven when it is not in use to prevent damage if the oven is accidentally turned on.
Check for Door Damage
Regularly inspect the oven door for any signs of damage, such as bent or dented areas, broken or loosened hinges and latches, and damaged door seals.
Maintain Clean Oven Interior
Keep the inside of the oven clean by wiping up spills immediately. Food particles and spilled liquids can stick to the oven walls, reducing efficiency.
Avoid Running Empty
Never operate the oven without food inside, as this can damage the magnetron tube or glass tray.
