Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Preventing Exposure to Microwave Energy
Do not attempt to operate the oven with the door open, as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. Ensure the door seals and sealing surfaces are clean and undamaged.
Avoiding Damages
Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. Check that the door closes properly and there is no damage to the door, hinges, latches, or seals. Only qualified service personnel should perform repairs.
Proper Use
Never operate the oven without food inside. This can damage the magnetron tube or glass tray. If steam accumulates inside or outside the oven door, wipe it with a soft cloth.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep the inside of the oven clean by wiping up spills immediately. Use a damp cloth for cleaning, and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasives.
Safe Placement
Place the oven on a flat, sturdy surface and ensure there is adequate ventilation by leaving at least four inches of space around the oven.
