Ice Type Indicator Light

Bright icon indicates the ice type is currently chosen. The indicator changes color based on the status of the water filter. When the green light changes to orange, it is time to replace the water filter. If the indicator is red, a quick replacement is strongly recommended. Reset the indicator by pressing the Ice Type button and the Child Lock buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. To turn off this indicator, press both buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Filter Indicator Light

The 'Filter Indicator' light alerts you when it is time to change your water filter cartridge. The light transitions from green to orange as a signal to change the filter. Ensure the filter is replaced promptly to maintain water quality.

Power Cool Light

This light is on when you activate the Power Cool mode. Press the button to quickly return the refrigerator to the set temperature. The light turns off when the mode is canceled.

Model Identification

The model and serial numbers for the Samsung RS2533SW, RS2555SW, RS2555SL, RS2577SW, and RS2577SL refrigerators can be found on a label inside the refrigerator cabinet on the left-hand side wall.

Freezer Features

The freezer includes an Xtra SpaceTM Door Bin, Ice Maker, Wire Shelf, and Wire Drawers. It is designed to store frozen foods such as pizzas, pasta, burritos, and fajitas, with specific compartments to prevent odor penetration to the ice.

Temperature Control

The Freezer Temp button allows setting the temperature between 8°F and -14°F. The Fridge Temp button allows setting the fridge temperature between 34°F and 46°F. The Power Freeze and Power Cool buttons speed up the freezing and cooling processes, respectively.

CoolSelect ZoneTM Drawer

This feature allows selection of Quick Cool, Thaw, or Soft Freeze settings to increase the flexibility of food storage. Quick Cool can chill beverages rapidly, while Thaw provides controlled thawing of meats.

Warranty Information

The refrigerator is covered by a limited warranty of one year for parts and labor and five years for parts and labor on the sealed refrigeration system. Warranty is valid only for products purchased and used in the United States.

Remove the Twin Deodorizer cover with a flat blade screwdriver, take out the cartridge, and soak it in clean warm water for at least 4 hours. Completely air dry in sunlight for at least 8 hours before reinserting.
