Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Refrigerator.
Proper Installation
Ensure the refrigerator is installed in a cool, dry room with adequate ventilation. Allow clearance to the right, left, back, and top to reduce power consumption and keep energy bills lower.
Preventing Airflow Blockage
Do not place foods too closely in front of the vents at the rear of the appliance as it can obstruct free air circulation in the refrigerator compartment.
Food Storage
Wrap food properly or place it in airtight containers before placing it into the refrigerator. Observe maximum storage times and expiry dates of frozen goods.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Do not spray water directly inside or outside the refrigerator. Clean the rear of the refrigerator regularly to reduce energy consumption.
Power Outage Management
In the event of a power failure, minimize door openings. If the power failure lasts more than 2 hours, remove all ice in the Ice Bucket. If it lasts more than 24 hours, remove all frozen food.
