The water supply must be installed by a qualified person and connected to a potable water supply. Ensure water pressure is between 138 ~ 862 kPa (19.9 ~ 125.1 psi) for optimal ice maker operation.

Door Open Icon Lit

This indicates that the fridge or freezer door is open. Ensure that the doors of the fridge or freezer are closed properly to prevent the door open icon from lighting up.

Door Open Icon Blinking

This indicates that a door alarm condition is satisfied because the fridge or freezer door is open. Close the fridge or freezer door securely to stop the door open icon from blinking.

Power Freeze Button

Speeds up the time needed to freeze products in the freezer. Use this function if you need to quickly freeze items that spoil easily or if the temperature in the freezer has warmed dramatically.

Installation Guidelines

When installing the Samsung RS7*, RS54H*, RS57H* refrigerator, ensure that it is placed in a location with easy access to the water supply and without direct sunlight. The flooring should be level and there should be enough space for the doors to open easily. Maintain at least 50 mm clearance at the sides and 25 mm at the back to allow for proper ventilation.

Safety Precautions

To prevent injury, do not insert fingers or objects into the ice chute or ice maker bucket. Ensure that foods are not blocking the air vents to maintain optimal performance. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose, and do not place carbonated drinks or glass containers in the freezer.

Vacation Mode

Activate Vacation mode by pressing the Vacation button, which turns off the fridge compartment for energy saving during extended periods of non-use. Ensure all food is removed from the fresh-food compartment before activating this mode.

Operating Instructions

Use the Power Freeze button to speed up the freezing process, which is useful if the freezer door has been left open or you need to freeze items quickly. Adjust the freezer temperature between -15°C and -23°C, and the fridge temperature between 1°C and 7°C. Use the Freezer and Fridge buttons to set your desired temperature.

Child Lock Function

Activate the Child Lock function by pressing the Vacation and Fridge buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, which will lock all buttons and prevent the use of the water and ice dispenser levers.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Do not spray water directly inside or outside the refrigerator. For optimal performance, ensure the spacer is fixed on the rear of the unit during installation. Replace the water filter as needed and reset the filter schedule using the Filter Change button.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If the refrigerator does not work, ensure the power plug is connected properly. Adjust the temperature control if the fridge is not cooling sufficiently. Check for unusual noises and consult the manual for solutions.
