Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth regularly to maintain cleanliness. Clean the turntable, roller ring, and oven floor to ensure proper functioning. Avoid using harsh chemicals that might damage the microwave's interior.
Proper Use of Cookware
Use cookware of adequate size to prevent boilovers, which can cause smoking and grease spillovers that may ignite. Ensure that cooking utensils are microwave-safe to avoid damage or fires.
Avoid Operating While Empty
Never operate the microwave oven without food inside, as this can damage the magnetron tube or glass tray. It is advisable to leave a cup of water inside when not in use to prevent accidental damage if the oven is turned on.
Check for Door Damage
Regularly inspect the oven door for any damage, including bent or dented doors, broken or loosened hinges and latches, and damaged door seals. Ensure the door closes properly to avoid harmful exposure to microwave energy.
Avoid Using Damaged Parts
Do not attempt to repair the oven on your own or use it if any parts are damaged. Contact an authorized service center for examination, repair, or adjustment to prevent risk of electric shock or fire.
