Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Preventing Exposure to Microwave Energy
Do not attempt to operate the oven with the door open as open-door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. Ensure the safety interlocks are not tampered with.
Avoiding Electrical Hazards
Never try to repair the oven on your own due to dangerous voltage inside. Call 1-800-SAMSUNG for authorized service centers.
Maintaining Cleanliness
Keep the inside of the oven clean. Wipe up spills immediately to prevent food particles and liquids from sticking to the walls, ensuring efficient operation.
Handling Steam Accumulation
If steam accumulates inside or outside the oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This can happen in high humidity and does not indicate microwave leakage.
Operating with Food
Never operate the oven without food inside as this can damage the magnetron tube or glass tray.
