Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Safety Precautions
Always observe safety precautions when using the oven. Never attempt to repair the oven on your own due to dangerous voltage inside. If repair is needed, contact an authorized service center at 1-800-SAMSUNG.
Avoid Damage to Door and Seals
Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door. Ensure no soil or cleaner residue accumulates on sealing surfaces. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged, particularly if the door does not close properly.
Prevent Microwave Energy Exposure
Do not attempt to operate the oven with the door open. Open-door operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. Do not tamper with safety interlocks.
Proper Installation and Setup
Move your microwave away from other appliances like TVs or radios. Install in a well-ventilated location for proper cooling and airflow. Connect only to a 20A or greater dedicated circuit.
Correct Cleaning Methods
Keep the inside of the oven clean to maintain efficiency. Wipe up spills immediately and clean the door with mild soap and water using a soft cloth to prevent scratching.
