Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Regular Cleaning
Keep the inside of the oven clean by wiping up spills immediately with a damp cloth and mild soap. Food particles and spilled liquids can stick to the oven walls, causing the oven to work less efficiently.
Check Door and Seals
Ensure that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the door, hinges, latches, or seals. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. Contact a qualified service technician for repairs.
Avoid Operating Empty
Never operate the oven without food inside, as this can damage the magnetron tube or glass tray.
Use Appropriate Utensils
Remove any metallic utensils, cookware, or metal ties from the oven. If using foil, use only narrow strips and ensure at least one inch between the foil and interior oven walls.
Ventilation
Ensure proper ventilation by checking and cleaning the vent fan regularly. Accumulation of grease or dust can obstruct airflow.
