Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Oven.
Ensure Proper Door Function
Do not attempt to operate the oven with the door open, as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. Regularly inspect the door for any damage like bends or dents, and ensure that the hinges and latches are not broken or loosened.
Maintain Clean Sealing Surfaces
Avoid placing objects between the front face of the oven and the door; ensure that no soil or cleaner residue accumulates on the sealing surfaces.
Avoid Operating with Damage
Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It's crucial that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the door, hinges, latches, or seals.
Steam Management
If steam accumulates inside or outside the oven door, wipe it with a soft cloth. Steam accumulation during high humidity operation does not indicate microwave leakage.
Avoid Operating Without Food
Never operate the oven without food inside, as this can damage the magnetron tube or glass tray.
