Clean the turntable, roller ring, and oven floor, and ensure they are positioned correctly.

Power goes off before set time

A power outage has occurred or the plug is loose.

Remove the plug, wait ten seconds, and plug it back in. Reset the clock and any cooking instructions.

Troubleshooting

The Samsung SMV7165 Oven has some known problems that occur often. Here are some easy to do solutions for the problems or error codes your Samsung might be giving you.

Door Error

The oven’s display works, but the power won’t come on. Make sure the door is closed securely. Check to see if packing material or other material is stuck to the door seal.

Power Interruption

The power goes off before the set time has elapsed. If there has not been a power outage, remove the plug from the outlet, wait ten seconds, then plug it in again. If there was a power outage, reset the clock and any cooking instructions.

Cooking Time Setting

The display shows: 'SET COOKING TIME WITH NUMERIC BUTTON'. Use the number buttons to set a cooking time up to a maximum of 60 minutes. Press Start to begin cooking.
