Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that the refrigerator is cleaned regularly, including the interior shelves, drawers, and door seals. Use a mild detergent and warm water to prevent the build-up of bacteria and odors.
Defrosting
Perform regular defrosting to maintain the efficiency of the refrigerator. The models have an automatic defrosting cycle 4 times in 24 hours, but manual defrosting may be necessary if ice builds up.
Check Electrical Connections
Periodically inspect the electrical connections to ensure they are secure and not showing signs of wear or damage. This helps to avoid electrical malfunctions.
Monitor Temperature Settings
Regularly check and adjust the thermostat to maintain the recommended internal temperature, which ranges from -2°C to +10°C for refrigerated bases and -15°C to -20°C for freezers.
Inspect Door Seals
Check the door seals for any signs of damage or wear. Damaged seals can cause air leaks, leading to inefficiency and increased energy consumption.
