Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Cleaning the Exterior
Use warm water with a little washing-up liquid to clean the outer casing of the refrigerator. Avoid using proprietary kitchen surface cleaners as they may attack the plastics used in the appliance.
Defrosting Process
Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment every time the motor compressor stops. Ensure that the defrost water drain hole is periodically cleaned to prevent water overflow.
Energy Saving Tips
Avoid opening the door frequently or leaving it open longer than necessary. If the ambient temperature is high, set the Temperature Regulator toward warmer settings to allow automatic defrosting and save electricity.
Food Storage Recommendations
Store meat wrapped in polythene bags on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer. Do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator. Ensure air can circulate freely around stored food.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Unplug the appliance before any maintenance. Clean the inside and accessories with lukewarm water and neutral soap. Regularly check and clean the door seals to ensure they are free from debris.
