Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Proper Ventilation
Ensure that the ventilation openings are clear of obstruction. The back of the refrigerator should be against a wall to avoid touching warm parts like the compressor and condenser, and it must not be located close to radiators or cookers.
Safe Storage Practices
Adhere strictly to the appliance's manufacturer's storage recommendations. Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer as they may explode. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Regular Cleaning
Clean the interior and accessories with lukewarm water and neutral soap. Do not use detergents, abrasive powders, or highly perfumed cleaning products. Clean the condenser and compressor at the back with a brush or vacuum cleaner.
Defrosting Maintenance
Frost is automatically eliminated from the refrigerator's evaporator during normal use. Regularly clean the defrost water drain hole in the refrigerator compartment to prevent overflow.
Temperature Regulation
Adjust the temperature regulator to maintain desired coldness. A medium setting is generally most suitable. In high ambient temperatures, avoid setting the appliance to the lowest temperatures to prevent continuous running and frost formation.
