Follow these easy steps to get your AEG 35600 Dryer up and running in no time.
Before setting up the dryer, ensure you fully understand the safety instructions provided in the manual. This will help prevent any accidents or damage to the appliance.
Choose a clean, dry, and well-ventilated location. Avoid deep pile carpets and ensure the temperature does not fall below freezing or rise above 35°C.
Any electrical work required for installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Ensure the dryer is properly plugged into a grounded power outlet.
Adjust the feet of the dryer using a screwdriver to ensure it is level. This will help with the efficient operation of the appliance.
Install the vent hose to allow hot, moist air to flow freely. The vent hose should be 100 mm in diameter and no longer than 4 meters, venting to the open air.
If the dryer is installed next to a heat source, place a heat insulation non-flammable pad between them to prevent heat damage.
Wipe the drum of the dryer with a moist cloth before using it for the first time. This will remove any residues from manufacturing.
Ensure the laundry is well spun before placing it in the dryer. Close zip fasteners and button-up bed linens to prevent tangling.
Load the prepared laundry into the dryer, observing the maximum load capacities as stated in the program table.
Use the program selector to choose the appropriate drying program for your laundry type. Press the 'SPECIAL CARE' button if needed for delicate fabrics.
