Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dryer.
Regular Cleaning
To ensure efficient operation of the AEG 35600 Dryer, clean the fluff filter after each drying program. Also, check whether there are any remnants or fluff from the washing in the drum and remove immediately. This helps prevent blockages and ensures optimal drying performance.
Check Ventilation
Ensure the vent hose is not obstructed, blocked, or squashed. Proper ventilation is crucial as it affects the drying efficiency and may cause safety cut-outs to operate if not maintained.
Avoid Overloading
Observe the maximum loads stated for each program to prevent creasing and ensure effective drying. Overloading can lead to unsatisfactory results and longer drying times.
Proper Laundry Preparation
To prevent tangled bundles of laundry, close zip fasteners, button up bed linen and pillowcases, and tie together loose tapes, e.g., aprons. This prevents damage and ensures even drying.
Avoid Residue Buildup
Wipe the inside of the drum and the drum fins with white vinegar to avoid a buildup of residues or deposits that may affect the sensors. This is particularly important if you regularly use fabric conditioning sheets or dry starched items.
