Follow these easy steps to get your AEG T37400 Dryer up and running in no time.

1. Check for Transport Damage

Inspect the dryer for any damage that may have occurred during transport. If you find any damage, do not connect the appliance and contact your dealer for assistance.

2. Select Installation Location

Ensure the dryer is installed in a room where the temperature does not fall below zero or exceed +35°C. The dryer should be leveled and not placed on a thick pile carpet to ensure proper air circulation through the ventilation slots.

3. Install Insulating Panel

If the dryer is installed near a gas, coal, or electric heater, place an insulating non-inflammable panel between the dryer and the heater. The panel should measure 85x57.5 cm.

4. Ensure Accessibility of Plug

Make sure that the plug of the dryer is always accessible for easy disconnection from the mains power supply.

5. Unpacking

Slide out the polythene bag with the polystyrene stuffing from inside the machine and remove any adhesive strips from inside the machine and on top of the drum.

6. Wipe the Drum

Before performing the first drying cycle, wipe the drum of the dryer with a damp cloth to ensure it is clean and ready for use.

7. Connect to Power Supply

Plug the dryer into the mains power supply, ensuring that the rated voltage and type of current correspond with those at the installation site.

8. Ventilation

Ensure the room is well-ventilated and that the dryer's exhaust is not fed into a cooker hood, chimney, or flue pipe designed to carry exhaust from a fuel-burning appliance.
