Follow these easy steps to get your Hotpoint FFA91 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Locate your fridge freezer away from sources of heat such as cookers, radiators, and direct sunlight as extreme temperatures will affect its performance. Ensure there is a minimum of 100mm (4 inches) between the top of the fridge freezer and the ceiling or the underside of a wall cupboard.
Ensure that ventilation openings are kept clear of obstruction to prolong the life of the fridge freezer and minimize running costs.
Move the fridge freezer into its final location using the sides of the cabinet. Allow a space of 600mm (24 inches) in front to allow the door to open.
Before plugging in and switching on, leave the fridge freezer standing in its final location for at least 15 minutes to allow it to settle.
Level the fridge freezer by adjusting the front feet until firm contact is made with the floor. This will stop rocking or vibration and keep the door aligned, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
Plug in and switch on the fridge freezer. Allow the compartments to cool before placing any food inside.
The display will show temperature readings as both compartments cool. The fridge compartment will show an arrow indicating it is cooling to its factory setting of 4˚C. The arrow will turn off once this temperature is reached.
If you are freezing fresh food, activate Fast Freeze by pressing the switch 24 hours before placing the food inside. Fast Freeze will automatically cancel after 48 hours.
If after 24 hours the fridge freezer is not operating as desired, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
