1. Positioning the Appliance
Place the appliance in a well-ventilated, humidity-free room. Ensure airflow is not obstructed under and behind the appliance. The compressor and condenser require good ventilation to operate correctly and save energy. Position the appliance away from heat sources such as direct sunlight or cookers.
2. Initial Setup
After transportation, place the appliance vertically and wait at least 3 hours before connecting it to the electricity mains. Before connecting, clean the compartments and accessories with lukewarm water and bicarbonate.
3. Electrical Connection
Insert the plug into the socket. Ensure the internal light illuminates, indicating connection. The TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob should not be set to the off position.
4. Setting the Temperature
Turn the TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob to a mid position. After a few hours, you can place food in the refrigerator. The temperature adjusts automatically based on the thermostat knob position, appliance location, room temperature, and door openings.
5. Operational Recommendations
Install the appliance in a fresh, well-ventilated room protected from direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Avoid frequent or prolonged door openings to conserve energy. Do not overfill the appliance to ensure proper cold air circulation.
6. Defrosting and Maintenance
The refrigerator defrosts automatically. Ensure the water discharge hole is not blocked. Clean the appliance's external and internal parts, including rubber seals, using a sponge soaked in lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda or neutral soap.
