Follow these easy steps to get your Hotpoint NRFAA50 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Upon receiving your Hotpoint RFA52 or NRFAA50 refrigerator, carefully remove all packaging materials. Check for any transport damage and ensure all accessories are included.
Install the appliance on a level and rigid floor. If the floor is not perfectly horizontal, adjust the single foot at the front of the appliance by tightening or loosening it as needed.
After transporting the appliance, place it vertically and wait at least 3 hours before connecting it to the electricity mains. Ensure the appliance is earthed and the plug complies with local regulations. Use a 13amp fused plug for connection.
Turn the temperature adjustment knob to an average value. After a few hours, the appliance will be ready to store food. Adjust the thermostat knob to a medium position for optimal cooling.
Before connecting the appliance, clean the compartments and accessories with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda or neutral soap. Dry thoroughly.
Ensure the appliance is away from any sources of heat such as direct sunlight or electric stoves. Maintain the correct distance between the appliance and the wall behind it by fitting the spacers supplied in the installation kit.
Open and close the doors to ensure the gaskets make a good seal without any gaps when the doors are closed.
